QUALIFICATIONS FOR YEAR END  ALL AROUND AWARDS
OPEN & NONPRO ALL AROUND FORM

The year end All Around Open Horse & All Around Nonpro Horse must show in the Herd Work class & an appropriate Open or Nonpro Working Cow Horse Class.

 1. Membership dues must be paid on the owner of the horse and rider before the first class entered. Points do not count until fees are paid in full.

 2. Open All Around Points are based on the horse & one rider/one horse combination per individual show day. Riders may be changed on different show days.(For example, Joe may show the horse all day on Saturday, & Sue may show the horse all day Sunday, but Joe & Sue cannot show the same horse on Saturday & have these points count.) Nonpro All Around Points are strictly one horse/one rider combination.

 3.  All Around form designating the horse/rider & which fence class that will be used for the All Around must be completed prior to first show the horse is competing in for points to count. A rider may enter as many rider / horse combinations as they wish, but an individual form must be filled out for each. (The $1500 Limited Class(Fence Class) & Limited Working Cow Horse (Boxing or Rookie) do not qualify towards Open or Non Pro All Around).

 4. Nonpro contestants must have Nonpro form signed & on file before points will count. (See Standing Rules #7 for Nonpro definition)

5. All Nonpro riders or immediate family of Nonpro riders must own horse entered.

6. Minimum of 3 of 5 show attendance required. If a show is rained out, it will count as one show.

7. Point tabulation will be based on the actual cumulative scores received in the two qualifying classes with a maximum of 4 shows scores. If you attend 3, 3 will count. If you attend 5, your lowest score will be dropped & 4 used.

Judge's Scores

Example:  Herd Work              Jr Working Cow Horse

Show 1        65                  69+72=141 points

Show 2        60                 65+70=135 points
       Show 3       74                  0+72=72points
       Show 4       68                  70+69=139points
       *Show 5      70                  71+70=141points

In this example, where 5 shows were attended, the lowest score for each class is dropped. (Herd Work Score of 60, & Working Cow Horse Score of 72.) Year end total points would be 277 Herd + 556 Working Cow= 833 points total.

LIMITED ALL AROUND AWARD
Based on the horse & one rider/one horse combination with the Two-Handed Cutting or Herd Work, & the Limited Cow Horse Class (Boxing Class) as the qualifying classes. $1500 Limited does not qualify, it is a fencework class. Please read rule requirements for the Limited Cow Horse Class. Point tabulation same as above #7. See Rulebook (page 15) for Limited Rider definition.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR YEAR END CLASS AWARDS
Each Class has a Year End Award presented.

Herdwork Class will award to the following divisions ran concurrently within the class:
Open Champion, Reserve Open Champion, NonPro Champion, Reserve NonPro Champion, High Point Senior Horse, High Point Junior Horse.

1. Membership dues must be paid on the owner of the horse and rider before the first class entered. Points do not count until fees are paid in full.

2.  Points are based on the horse & one rider/one horse combination per individual show day. Riders may be changed on different show days.(For example, Joe may show the horse all day on Saturday, & Sue may show the horse all day Sunday, but Joe & Sue cannot show the same horse on Saturday & have these points count.)

3. Nonpro contestants must have Nonpro form signed & on file before points will count.(See Standing Rules #7 for Nonpro definition).

4. All Nonpro riders or immediate family of Nonpro riders must own horse entered.

 5. Minimum of 3 of 5 show attendance required. If a show is rained out, it will count as one show.

 6. Point tabulation will be based on the actual score received in all classes .Points will be cumulative for the year with a maximum of 4 shows to be tabulated. If 5 shows are attended, the lowest score class score of the 5 shows will then be dropped.

Example: Fence work class score would be equal to the combination of the rein work score & cow work score.

            Show 1 (69+72=141 points)

Show 2 (65+70=135 points)
            Show 3 (0+72=72points)
            Show 4 (70+69=139points)
            Show 5 (71+70=141points)

The year end cumulative score for this rider would be 556 points. Since the rider attended all 5 shows, the lowest score (show 3) is allowed to be dropped (72points).
*In this same example, if only the first 4 shows were attended, all four would be used for the cumulative score which then would be 487 points.

7.  All year end class awards will be presented at the year end banquet.
