Clinic Schedule

Listed is the tentative schedule for both days of the clinic. Please be courteous to our clinician and other participants by being prepared and ready to ride at the designated times.

If you are running late due to uncontrollable circumstances, please call Christie on her cell at 530-517-1000 so the day’s schedule is not delayed.

Saturday

8:00 AM : Rider meeting & introductions

Meet at the arena with your horse saddled, warmed up & ready to ride

Saturday will encompass the stages of training a fence horse, from start to finish.

Starting the horse on cattle Incorporating the roundpen

Working in a square pen Gaining confidence in your young horse

We will break late morning or noon time for lunch which is included & will be provided on site.

Sunday

8:00 AM : Meet at arena, saddled, warmed up & ready to ride

Sunday will cover maintaining a fence horse and strategy for the show pen.

Keeping your show horse fresh Position & control in the show pen

Differences in tuning up your young horse vs. a seasoned veteran

We will break late morning or noon time for lunch which is included & will be provided on site.
