Applicants test on Herd & Fence
Audit portion- Open to anyone wanting to attend. Covers the scoring
& evaluation of reining, cutting, steer stopping & fence work. $120
Fee for 2 days audit only, or $80 per day audit only-Lunch included in fee for
Saturday only
Testing portion- Any individual wishing to take the licensing test
for the NRCHA. Age requirement of 21yrs old & NRCHA member (can pay
membership day of seminar). $160 fee includes Audit, Lunch Saturday &
Testing for both days.
This
is a GREAT seminar for beginners & seasoned veterans alike. Learn
how your horse is scored, what gains & loses you points in front of the
judge, & what the scoring is based & composed on. Regardless if you are
a competitor, owner, spectator or just playing on the weekends, you need to
understand how it adds up on the scorecard to maximize the experience. This
seminar is back by demand for the fifth year in a row.
Lodging
on site & reduced rate offered (530-824-3220, Group name NCRCHA by Jan
25th). Other motels located within a mile of Casino also (South Ave).
Corning is right on Interstate 5, & is 50 minutes south of Redding, Ca
& 1 hour & 45 minutes north of Sacramento, Ca (both have airports).
Take Liberal Ave exit from I-5 for the casino.
